1st Saturday Happenings!!

February 7, 2015

12 - 4 pm - No Charge

On the first Saturday of each month we'll be holding a FREE fun event from 12-4 pm with something for all of our fiber friends.
This month (February 7, 2015) we're featuring annypurls' Winged Heart Tattoo.

We'll provide the yarn & needles for the heart (limit one per person). Just bring some stuffing and stash yarn if you'd like to do the optional banner and wings.

UFO Nights

Wednesday, February 18
Thursday, March 19

6 - 8 pm - No Charge

Want to add a little more interest to your night? Bring in a UFO that's been taunting you! We're gathering from 6-8 pm to get them done! (And just in case you're asking: What the heck's a UFO?! They're Un-Finished Objects that you keep meaning to work on!)

Sweaters that Fit

Our popular workshop returns with another five sessions (January 27, February 20 and 24, March 10 and 24) that address almost everything you need to know to make a sweater that actually fits the intended recipient. We’ll start with the basics – the selection of the pattern, the preferred yarn (fiber type), gauge swatches and making any necessary adjustments to gauge, and body measurements.

In the following sessions we’ll visit setting in sleeves, various seams, making adjustments as necessary, picking up stitches, and many more interesting and necessary tidbits.

Team Knit/Team Crochet

Our team knitters and team crocheters have a couple of projects almost completed and ready to be donated. A very special thank you to those that have been able to participate! We'd love to have you join us so we can make more projects for donation. As a reminder, we meet every Thursday from 11 AM until 1 PM. Can't make it during the day? Send us an email and let us know what time/day is more convenient.
