A Special Note About Minors

Information We Collect
If you open an account on our site, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address. We use your purchase history, contact information and other registration information to send you information about your orders. All information you submit to us is for our information only. We may send special announcements to those who signed up for our mailing list. If you want to be removed from our mailing list, please send an email to [email protected]. We do not send emails to our users announcing special promotions, or anything else, when you select 'No' to the email question when you order. Changes in our services or other information is sent to those who have selected 'yes' to this same question. You can login and change your answer at any time.
When you visit our website, we may also collect some basic information that does not identify individual users. We will use this information to determine our users' demographics and interests, so that we can better understand and serve our users.

Any and all information collected at any time throughout this site shall be used only for it's intended purpose and never sold, rented, given to, or otherwise reused for any means whatsoever. We will never disclose any given information to third parties. Any information collected that is no longer needed such as through feedback or support is permanently deleted from our records. Such information will never be sold, rented, or given to anyone from our company. Downloads from our web site produce log files which contain a visitor's I.P. address, browser version and date. This information is collected for our own use, and is never shared with anyone outside of our company. Similar logs are also recorded when an advertisement is clicked on within our website. These logs are shared with the owner of the advertisement only.
Security
Once you have clicked the checkout button, your browser will look to verify that you are actually communicating with Nature's Yarns, Inc. Before continuing the checkout process a positive ID must be made and the digital certificate must be verified. The secured transaction process has begun and a warning message may appear at t his time in your browser. You will also notice that your browser URL will change from HTTP to HTTPS. The 'S' indicates that your information is now secure and also the lower left of your screen will show a key or closed lock. You will remain in the secured browser until your transaction is complete. At the end of your session, you should sign out and close your browser. This will prevent others from accessing your account on a shared computer.
We do not store credit card numbers on our server. That information must be re-entered every time you place an order. All user credit card information is securely communicated using SSL (secure socket layer) software, which is the industry standard and among the best software available for secure commerce transactions.
