Return Policy

We want the products we sell to be in the best condition for all of our customers, so we have put the following policies into place:

  • Nature's Yarns reserves the right not to accept returns if item(s) is/are in resalable condition.
  • Receipt of purchase must accompany all returns. No exceptions will be made.

We always encourage you to buy that extra ball for a project, as dye lots change and yarns get discontinued by manufacturers on a regular basis. Nature's Yarns will gladly refund money on that ONE (1) Y.S.A. (yarn shortage anxiety) ball of yarn taken for your project.

The following items are NOT RETURNABLE or EXCHANGEABLE (except if damaged):

  • Printed materials that can be reproduced
  • Accessories/Needles/Notions
  • Sale Merchandise
  • Skeins without Labels/Packaging
  • Special Orders for materials we do not normally order

Yarn may be weighed to ensure it is complete.

Returns
Items may be returned within 30 days of purchase. For all returns, you must first call 703.273.3596 or e-mail us at [email protected] for a return authorization .

Nature's Yarns cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during transit. For your protection, we suggest you wrap the product carefully to avoid damage, please insure your return/exchange for the full value of the contents and return goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier . Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The cost of returning goods will be borne by you.

  • You must have the original sales receipt
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Provide customer's phone number
  • Provide customer's shipping address and billing address
  • All items must be returned to us unused and in its original packaging.

Your refund will be issued to the credit card used to pay for the purchase. Orders placed by other means will be refunded by check within 30 days of return of goods. All returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee.

Damaged Items
For warranty or defect issues, we will gladly give you contact info for replacement. Books, magazines, patterns, needles and accessories will be replaced if damaged in shipment. We will reimburse any shipping costs when returning damaged merchandise and will send replacement merchandise at no cost. Please include a description of the damage with your return.

Nature's Yarns welcomes anyone interested in fiber arts to join us in our Gathering Room at one of our in-store events or classes . Or just sit, knit and chat out of the traffic.
